Painting With Light 14

Painting with Light, or light painting, is a photographic technique made at night in total darkness.
A hand held light source, such as a flashlight or penlight is used to actually paint light across the subject.
The light can be used to selective illuminate certain parts of the scene, while leaving other parts dark.
The technique requires a tripod and slow shutter speeds, anywhere from 1 second to 2 or 3 minutes.
Long exposure times require camera release cables and low ISO settings to reduce digital noise.
